Imagine a set of books that could teach younger children about business and entrepreneurial lessons in a way that captivates their imagination. Imagine no more, as Clever Tykes have smashed it out of the park with this set of books with beautiful illustrations by Sam Moore.
Unfortunately at the moment Dottie is too young for these but I’ve got a set and they’re well placed for when she’s old enough to ask for a dog, learn how to code or wants to learn more about healthy eating choices. Because that’s what these books are about, teaching your children.
I won’t give too much away as they’re a great read but here’s a brief on the books in the set:
Change-it Cho
Cho is a healthy eater and very competitive thanks to her parents. She wants to raise awareness of the benefits of healthy eating and set up a stall but there’s a number of obstacles in her way. Chapters include An Idea is Born, Time for Action and Decision Time. Not the kind you’d normally find in a book aimed for this age group.
Walk-it Willow
Willow enjoys walking the dog so much so that there’s a potential money making idea on the horizon. Every idea has it’s pitfall! Chapters include The First Walk, Too Many Dogs and Don’t Panic.
Code-it Cody
Teaching children to code is a brilliant idea. Working in recruitment there is a gulf in talent for digital and this is a great way to introduce coding to kids. It talks about hard work and resilience against competition and adversary. Chapters include Get Creative, Competition Time and The Challenge.

What a great range and a great idea for children’s books. I’d be curious to see what the code it one was like.
It’s great, it’s about a lad that’s in a coding competition and his friend has a better game. So what’s he to do?????? All about determination and pressure. Really clever.
I’m super intrigued by these books!
I know my nieces would love these!!
I think these would be beneficial to my niece or in fact other children as they teach children about life in general when it comes to wants and not wants
Have you entered? Only a couple of days left
yes thanks xxxx
These educational but fun books sound very different to a lot of children’s literature out there at the present time. I think all three would be very helpful for introducing unfamiliar topics and subjects to my son in a friendly responsible manner. x
Any books that teach children about healthy eating, money management and coding in a fun way are great in my book (Pun intended) 🙂
This is a great idea. I have a 9 year old and these would be perfect for him. Any educational books aimed at children are great. We read every night and he would love these 🙂

I like the fact that they teach kids everyone is different and that’s ok!
I’d say it’s more teaching them that there will be challenges and you can overcome them.
They see, not only fun to read but educational too
Yep! EARLY age personal development
it would encourage them to make healthy changes
Please feel free to enter the competition. Healthy choices and teaching them about adversary from a young age is great
They look appealing and make learning seem fun and not a bore.
They are educational yet still look fun for kids.
I think these are such a great idea! Not only do they encourage children to develop their reading skills with lovely story telling, but they also show children what a small idea can achieve, how to work through challenges and how positive thinking and a positive attitude can help you achieve your goals.
Great educationl books, my girls would love it,
