Where the hell did 2017 go! I mean come on really, one minute I was happily starting a role in a new company on 2nd January and the next I’m crying myself back to work on the 2nd of January. I remember a couple of years ago living payday to payday and after two weeks I’d be begging for the month to end so I’d get paid again. When you have children though it’s a completely different situation and those days and weeks are precious and I really try to make the most of them as possible. The issues I have are with planning and maximising my time outside of the office/car/boardroom so that’s why I’m writing down what I want to do for 2018 and then we can schedule them in weekly to make sure we have fun and do things differently. I want this year to be a year of excitement and while I don’t like prescribed fun, I hate having no fun at all. At least with a plan we’ll have a backup should we decide to do something differently.
Please let me know if you have any other suggestions for things to do. I’m was so excited to start planning for fun family things to do, I’ve probably forgotten loads.
